Just Dance deserve so much attention as much as their other games that sells very well. The goal of this petition is showing to Ubisoft that Just Dance is also part of their games. World Dance Floor and Quick Play are still broken and I don’t see them fixing it, they are busy creating and finishing Just Dance 2022 (hope the bugs won’t happen there) Another issue that I have is that Ubisoft took months to fix so many bugs in Just Dance 2021 that led to so much frustration around players. Dancer Cards, World Dance Floor, Quick Play, Dancer of the Week were broken and we waited long for Ubisoft to fix all of them. I don’t understand the decision behind it but I think it was really unnecessary to do it. Ubisoft took so many game modes out of the Just Dance making it incredibly boring after playing all of the songs, unlocking all of the avatars, stickers, and aliases. Why add data and gameplay not yet ready or scheduled for release to a public database that is KNOWN to be insecure and easily accessible? It just doesn't make sense. This lead to the creation of so much drama in the community, which shouldn’t have happened if Ubisoft had great server security On the topic of public databases and servers, the World Dance Floor and score hosting servers are incredibly insecure and unstable, both of which are easy to observe in past and even present games.One prime example is when the Just Dance 2019 World Dance Floor was compromised and people were able to:-manipulate scores of other dancers -manipulate their own score and ranking -change the path the World Dance Floor is taking worryingly easily, as proven by just how often it actually happens. And what did Ubisoft do to try and prevent this? Started banning REAL, GENUINE PLAYERS who happen to legitimately achieve these top scores. If it isn't obvious already, Ubisoft puts no real effort into this game compared to their others. And it is time that changed. This practice is incredibly insecure and also displays the carelessness Ubisoft feels towards their series. Incorrect advertising and general event neglect aren't the only issues with Ubisoft's treatment of Just Dance however. On multiple occasions, the official Just Dance Brazil account has posted leaks and content that wasn't ready to be pushed to the public causing confusion, worry and making some people even lose interest in the game or a certain aspect of it. The Just Dance team also push any new songs to be added in a future season (or even old songs they wish to bring back) to the LIVE Just Dance Unlimited database, rather than an in-house offline version that mirrors the live one. While it is true that these games mentioned are very popular, well known, and incredibly successful, they were still granted a bigger budget and were cared about more than Just Dance, even in their infancy however, all of this neglect was quickly surpassed by the level of disrespect shown towards the series at the recent Gamescom and GameXP event. Ubisoft and Gamescom alike both advertised Just Dance 2022 being featured in Gamescom. This was not the case. When the hosts inserted the game cartridge into the Switch, docked it, and loaded the game up, it was VERY quickly apparent that they were given Just Dance 2021, and not the afformentioned Just Dance 2022, even though the event was titled as Just Dance 2022 and the thumbnail used on the Ubisoft-Gamescom website was a Just Dance 2022 logo. This display of utter disregard and carelessness about the series should not be allowed to continue.
While other games like The Crew, Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege, and even For Honor receive lavish areas in gaming conventions and lengthy, detailed, well-advertised talks and panels, Just Dance is left in the dust with smaller areas, shorter talks, and generally smaller budgets and, although in recent years some of their panels have become more lively and a better representation of the Just Dance community, the game still doesn't receive the care and attention it deserves. For years, Ubisoft has consistently shown that they do not care about the Just Dance series as much as their other games.
